Loved this post! I am also doing a No Buy Year since October and found myself relating to her first 3 months. I am sad that she gave into temptation just being so so close to the finish line but this was such an nice read and I'm sure this experience completely changed her relationship with clothes.
Thank you! I am actually documenting it month by month on my Substack, and I'm enjoying reading about other's experiences (that's how I've discovered you) 💖 Two weeks ago I organised my first clothes swap in Edinburgh which kind of scratched the itch a bit of not being able to buy - and allowed me to meet so many like minded women! Right now I am on my mending/repair/altering phase - learning lots!
Can I just say this post chimes with my lived experience that if you take care of your Zara (or other high street) you can and will enjoy it for years to come. Trinny is another example of someone with a wardrobe full of old Zara that she claims to rewear. Anyway this was an inspirational and fun read as I attempt my own no-buy.
Go for it Jen! It all depends on the size of the wardrobe you start with - I note Trinny recently moved house in order to gain an extra floor just for her wardrobe. Half wildly jealous, half utterly disapproving!!

Gosh, congratulations, that's quite an undertaking. Let me know how you get on. I hope it brings you renewed fashion vigour!

Haha fair maybe Trinnys archive is just not something to use as a comparison 🤨😉
