Ellens Bar at House of Koko, where we will be hosting the fair

Sharp eyed readers would have noticed that in my email yesterday I promised details of next weekend’s Sustainable Fashion Fair - and then omitted to share them. Oops! Well, here they are, and if you are in London next weekend, come and see us. It’s going to be an amazing showcase of circular fashion, I’m going to be there with some of the people I admire most in the fashion world: journalists, influencers and preloved queens. Together we will be hosting circles and talks on what we can do to shop and dress more responsibly - whilst still having lots of fun.

Save Your Wardrobe have so many ideas about how to salvage or upcycle your clothes

Save Your Wardrobe will be there, with a visible mending station. Their very clever Japanese embroidery artists will be on hand to fix any rips, holes or stains you might have on loved items, so bring them along. There will also be a sneaker cleaning station, so bring your scuffed up white plimsolls for some TLC - or any trainers you think might benefit from some attention.

Bring your sneakers along for a refresh

Also there will be Smart Works with their legendary fashion sale. Lots of amazing brands contribute to Smart Works, and what isn’t appropriate for office wear for Smart Works clients gets put into their fundraising sales. Brands like Victoria Beckham, Burberry, Rixo, Kitri, Needle and Thread and many more are brilliant partners.

Cercle, one of my favourie rental brands, are coming with a selection of their most gorgeous vintage pieces, available to rent or buy, and crucially their stylists will be on hand to offer advice about occasion wear dressing. If you’ve got a packed calendar of events building up this summer, this is your one stop solution.

Influencer Chaira Ferragni with her preloved Chanel bag in Sign of the Times

For more preloved and vintage we have one of my favourite shops, the legendary Sign of the Times, coming up from Chelsea, and joining them will be Peekaboo, who have a great offering of vintage fashion pieces.

Finally the talented Isabella Tan is coming with her fabric painting skills. She can paint on denim, cotton or any natural fabric, so if you have a jacket that needs a lift, or a pair of jeans that you’d like to breathe new life into - bring them along.

Tickets are £15, but for that you get drinks and to hang out in the swanky members club House of Koko, (in the newly restored Koko, Camden. It’s probably the most state of the art music venue in Europe). We have a bar, some vinyl listening rooms and plenty of space for changing so bring a friend and come have a lovely day hanging out with us.

If you are following Rule of Five we can share our pain and our successes, also I can give you all my tips from last year.

I love this community, and meeting you in person will bring me great joy next Saturday. Places are limited so I am saving them for the wonderful people who pay to subscribe to this campaign. Details below the paywall below.

If you fancy coming and aren’t a paying subscriber, you can up grade for just £5 a month.
